Flowers Filled

Color glass Casting Inlay

During a class with Dr. Jeffery, I accidentally created a unique glass texture that resembled a piece of dried, compressed sponge. This unexpected result inspired me to incorporate the texture into my graduation project.

Inspired by screen printing techniques, I used glass powder as the printing material on glass surfaces to create human-like textures. Low-temperature firing altered the natural transparency of the glass, allowing the printed powder to partially melt and bloom across the flat surface of the glass.
